Author:   Jan S. Emerson, Research Associate, CSWS
Description:

This site brings together images, texts, and music, illustrated, written and composed by Hildegard of Bingen, in ways not normally possible in a classroom or textbook setting. It enhances original and primary materials from Hildegard with images and texts contemporary to her, and elaborates these materials with scholarly commentary. The site is a work in progress; currently its focus is on Hildegard's theology of the feminine and on healing, especially as it relates to human sexuality and reproduction.
